Chocolate Christmas Cake
Christmas is fast approaching and many of us will have already started our pre-Christmas baking preparations. Here at Sweet and Simple Bakes, Rosie and I decided that our tried and tested recipe for Christmas Chocolate Cake would be the perfect bake for November. This is a recipe I introduced to Rosie a few years ago and we have both made this cake every Christmas. This moist fruit cake will be popular with chocoholics - the addition of the chocolate doesn't dominate but it gives the cake a lovely rich flavour. You can decorate it as you would a traditional Christmas cake or simply serve it as it is but decorate it with a big seasonal ribbon. The choice is yours! We are very excited about our November bake and hope you will join us! If you have any questions or queries, please leave a comment and both Rosie and I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
If you are a food blogger, we ask that you kindly write a post about your bake and link back to us @ Sweet and Simple Bakes. Let us know that you completed the bake and we'll list all the blogs that accomplished the bake. If you don't have a food blog and care to share how it went, feel free to contact us at sweet2simple[at]googlemail[dot]com
The posting date for Chocolate Christmas Cake is the 1st December!
Happy Christmas Cake baking!
Maria & Rosie

Made my version on Saturday, will be up later today, and the pics will as well...
btw it tastes interesting... but that could be because I made it with some very alcoholic mincemeat.
