If you vote for mince pies its fine to use shop brought pastry and mincemeat, but if you want to go that extra mile and make everything from scratch yourself we would be just as delighted. Trifle can be shop brought sponge, custard for quickness, or yet again you may wish to make this from scratch yourself. The stained glass window cookies are about making a quick dough and breaking up boiled hard sweets to place into the shape that is cut out before baking. Gingerbread people are also a quick gingerbread dough and cut into shape and decorations of icing etc would be of your choosing. Christmas muffins would be a lovely simple bake, so the choice is yours here our S&SB bakers. The poll will close on the 21/11/08 at midnight and which vote is cast the most will be our choice for Decembers bake.
So our ‘dear’ S&SB bakers cast your vote on what Sweet & Simple Bakes will be baking for this Decembers monthly bake.
Happy Christmas Baking

Hi Arundathi, I am excited to see the poll moving from one bake to another - we still have time on this poll. I wonder what will be the bake for December?
We thought (Maria & I) that it would be lovely for the S & S B bakers to vote for their favourite bake this month :)
Best wishes Rosie x
