Oatmeal and Chocolate Chip Cookies
For our next Sweet and Simple Bake I’ve chosen this easy recipe for Oatmeal and Chocolate Chip Cookies. I’ve baked these cookies with success numerous times and are a firm favourite in my home. These cookies are a heavenly balance of crunchy and chewy, savoury and sweet and are simply addictive. If you are trying to be “healthy”, substitute raisins or nuts for the chocolate chips. I hope everyone will love this cookie recipe and if you have any questions or queries, please leave a comment under the recipe and we will endeavour to reply as soon as possible. Happy baking everyone!
If you are a food blogger, we ask that you kindly write a post about your bake and link back to us at Sweet and Simple Bakes. Let us know that you completed the bake and we'll list all the blogs that accomplished the bake. If you don't have a food blog and care to share how it went, feel free to contact us at sweet2simple[at]googlemail[dot]com
The posting date for the Oatmeal and Chocolate Chip Cookies is 1st April 2009.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s entry!

I am a fan of your Simple Bakes Challenge since beginning, but couldn't dare enough to contribute as I wasn't confident about my baking. But I can't resist myself to take up the challenge! I would love to join in "Sweet & Simple Bakes" challenge!
I tried to email you, but it didn't go well. Please let me know what I have to do!
Hi Uma

I love chocolate chip cookies and these sound healthy. I will try these out.
I have one question, is it ok to send these cookies to another food blog event, when I post it on my blog?
Hi MyspicyKitchen
Glad you will be joining us! I don't see any problem in you entering these cookies to another food blog event.

Hi Maria,
I've sent you an email introducing myself and my blog and the entry for the bake challenge. Did you get it?
Hi everyone
So glad to have so many newbies on board. For those of you who have completed the bake, could we please ask that you post your entry on the 1st April. This way it avoids entries being missed if they have been posted weeks before our round-up date!
Karen I have not looked at email as I've been busy lately but will be checking soon.
Many thanks

I've just stumbled upon this group and everything looks delightful. Gutted I missed the bakewell cake, might just have to make that one for myself ;)
I will definitely be joining in on this one. I have about 4 bags of un opened oats in my cupboard (don't ask, I just keep buying them for some strange reason) so his is a perfect opportunity to use some of em up!
How exciting :D
